The "ALPEN BLICK Resort 2023-2024 season advertisement'' starring Akira Ogawa (60), the manager of ALPEN BLICK Resort, has started.
This season's catchphrase is "Before the magic of winter is lifted."
As the phrase ``slope magic'' suggests, Myoko's snow has the power to make people and scenery sparkle and look different than usual. We are running a promotion to stimulate demand for the snow resort while appealing to Myoko's extraordinary and special feeling.
This season's advertisement says, ``Manager Ogawa loves skiing.Every year, when ALPEN BLICK Resort is covered with snow, he feels that he can become a different person through the power of magic. I want people to celebrate beauty and enjoy this magic before the moment dissolves, before the magic of winter dissolves.''
The shooting took place at a studio in Tokyo in mid-October last year. Ogawa entered the studio the day before the shoot and did image training at the actual shooting location for his first commercial shoot. For about two hours, I learned how to take pictures from the photographer and prepared for the next day's shoot.
On the day of the shoot, the photo was taken indoors in the studio despite the rainy weather. During a break in filming, Ogawa injured his shoulder due to the awkward poses he was forced to take, but Ogawa's efforts were put to use elsewhere, resulting in the production team being filled with smiles as they finished taking the best photos.
On the day of shooting, the retoucher made corrections one after another. The images we brought to the designer were then turned into the best visuals possible.

――How was your first photo shoot?
The day went by so quickly. I'm really happy that I was able to make such precious memories on my 60th birthday.
――How was the shooting in the studio?
It was my first time shooting in a studio, so I had a lot of fun shooting surrounded by shiny flashes. It was my first time smiling and acting in front of the camera, so it was a completely new experience for me.
――Do you have any memories from ski resorts?
I had skied with my father before. I remember when I was really young, and I still remember how excited I felt every time I went to a ski resort. This year I am also trying snowboarding.
――How was your first attempt at snowboarding?
I received direct instruction from Narita Dome, who is supported by ALPEN BLICK Resort, so I was nervous at first, wondering if I could do it properly, but I really enjoyed snowboarding and wanted to practice more. I want to get better! I tought.
――What is your favorite memory from this shoot?
Being able to appear in the advertisement for "ALPEN BLICK Resort," which was my life's goal, is a great asset for me. I feel like I received a happy congratulations on my 60th birthday!
――``Before the magic of winter is broken.'' contains the idea that ``with the power of magic, you can become a different person than usual,'' but after filming, you realize that ``you are different from usual.'' Have you ever felt yourself?
It was my first time to be photographed, so I had a lot of experiences. During the photo shoot, I was able to look cute in fluffy ski wear, and it was also the first time that I realized and discovered something new about my own acting, so I was able to absorb a lot of things.
